This is an ideal setting, a country garden and Bali Style Banquet Hall, we can accommodate all types of functions.  Stroll the beautiful gardens that are ideal for wedding photos. We offer services from venue hire only through to complete arrangement and co-ordination of a function to your specific needs and requirements. The Hall area can also be used for smaller more intimate functions and conferences.  We are a stones throw from Pretoria East Cemetery and hold fully catered wakes.

Venue options for weddings and functions:

  • Chapel (150 people maximum)
  • Putu room banquet hall (150 people maximum)
  • Wayan venue (80 people maximum, only if the Chapel is not used for the ceremony)
  • Courtyard (150 people maximum)
  • Garden (160 people maximum)

Venue hire includes :

  • Crockery, cutlery and glasses
  • Tables and chairs
  • White table cloths
  • Ashtrays and salt & pepper cellars
  • Two barmen and clearing staff.
  • set out of tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery
  • bar items; and
  • catering. 

Should you want other items arranged and coordinated for you, a 10% services fee will be charged on total cost of venue and food. 

Wedding ceremonies can be held in the chapel next to the dams, under a gazebo in the garden, or in the courtyard.

  • No décor, equipment, food, entertainment and additional staff is included. The cutoff time for evening functions is 00h00.

Bar Services:                         
  • Two barmen will be provided for the function.
  • If you are running a cash bar, no people may run tabs. 
  • All drinks have to be paid for at the time of ordering. 
  • Should you want waiters taking drink orders, these waiters will be additional staff.
Open Bars:
  • If you are running an open bar, a 5% service charge will be added to the bill.
  • The open bar account is to be settled on the day of the function once cashed up.
  • A limit on the open bar is to be advised 1 month prior to the function and 100% of this limit is to be paid with the balance of the deposit 14 days prior to the engagement.  Should the limit not be reached the balance will be refunded with the breakage deposit 3 working days after completion of the function.
  • Please advise management in writing if contracted service providers my drink from the open bar.
Corkage Fees:Corkage fees will be applied to any alcoholic beverages brought onto the premises.  Alcoholic beverages may only be brought onto the premises with the prior agreement of management.
Cutoff for Functions: Breakfast – 12h00, Brunch – 13h00, Lunch – 17h00, Dinner – 00h00, no extensions will be made for evening functions. Any breakfast, brunch or lunch functions that continue after these times will be subject to a charge of R1000.00 per hour for the venue and only if agreed by management.
Decorations: Your function decorator may only commence preparations as per the agreed times stated on your contract. All decorations that you are wanting to take home, must be removed from the venue half an hour after cutoff time.

Smoking: No smoking is allowed in any of the indoor areas and is only allowed in designated smoking areas, which are well provided for. 

Electricity: A generator is available should we have power cuts. The cost for the generator is an additional R1200, but will only be charged for if it is used on the day of your function.All other details for a function can be organised and supplied by ourselves and each item is quoted on according to your specific requirements. Breakage Deposit:  A R2000.00 refundable deposit is to be paid for any breakages.  Should breakages or damage to the property exceed this amount, you will be invoiced accordingly. This deposit will be refunded within 3 working days of your function, less any debits for breakages, damages and overtime. Any costs incurred, will be invoiced by ourselves and is to be paid within 48 hours of completion of the function. No deposits can be deducted from your bill on the night of the function. Any houseware items that have been damaged and charged for will be handed over to you, should you want them.
 
Booking & Confirmation: We require a 25% non-refundable deposit on confirmation of booking and signed contract (with a minimum of R5000), followed by 50% of the balance 3 months prior to engagement and the balance 14 days prior to engagement.  We will only proceed with the engagement if these payments are made, with no exceptions. The deposit secures the time and date of your engagement and no date is confirmed unless the deposit is paid. A guaranteed number of heads must be confirmed two weeks prior to the function and the final payment will be in accordance with these numbers and no refund will be given should the numbers decrease.  No additional people can attend or be catered for after this time.
